Read the exchange again....
First, I am not saying it is ALL reasonable and blameless. I explicitly stated it was not. Second, the rebuttal was to counter calling the original assertion of things changing as intellectually dishonest while turning right around and arguing costs far outstripping inflation without acknowledging some of those changes in cost are attributable to changes in the nature and manner those services are provided and funded currently versus in the past. To clarify again, i am not saying all costs increases are reasonable and justified, however, the original argument about the costs relative to minimum wage is at best a gross oversimplification and at worst ignores changes in the way services are now provided compared to the past.
